So, it is a Valentine’s Day and you are frantically calling around trying to find a flower shop that will deliver.

As your florist I want to tell you – you deserve to be in a dog house for I have sent you 3 email reminders and left you 1 voice message. But, as a human being – I have been there: forgot the birthday, anniversary, graduation… you name it I missed it – well, apart from Valentine’s Day… I worked every Valentine’s Day, and no I do not hate it. Disclaimer and not so subtle hint: For some dang reason everyone thinks I should – but I love Valentine’s. I don’t care if it’s tacky, but I want mu bunch of flowers and a heart shaped chocolate with a card that says “I love you more than Kanye West loves himself”…

But the question here is what should you give? Is bunch of flowers and a chocolate a safe gift? YES. Almost no one will say no to flowers and chocolates. And, you do not have to think a lot. Red is traditional, but we have plenty other colors of roses if she said NO to red roses. From traditional mixed bunches to not so traditional tropical structures, flower can vary.

You can always come in the shop and pick something up (for me personally, there is something about a guy who hides a bunch of flowers behind his back)….

In other case you can have something delivered – there is that element of surprise when the flowers come unannounced, and I do not need to tell you that people like to brag: Yes, my beloved had these delivered to my office.  Oh, I can only imagine what he had planned for tomorrow (even if the big plan means binge watching Cupcake wars on Netflix).

We like to brag. We like flowers delivered in front of the crowd. Yes, we want to see those “I love you balloons” floating above cubicles, so everyone can look up…

Do you now understand importance of giving flowers?

Have you ever bothered to discover his/hers favorite flower ?

Oh, boy…  Take a look at our Valentine’s selection – pick one and have fun for the Valentine’s

P.S. Do not forget to write a card
