Bulk Flowers by Scent & Violet Rules and Policies

To ensure high quality of flowers while providing you with best possible price on bulk flowers our flower farms need advance purchase notice. With such advance notice comes a set of rules and practices Scent & Violet must follow, and you as the purchaser of our product must follow, too.


Order changes and cancellations of perishable products (flowers, foliage, plants)

Most changes, reschedules and, cancellations of perishable products (flowers, foliage, plants) can be made only within two days (48 hours) of the date/time you placed your order. No exceptions or refunds will be given after 48 hours. Address and contact information can be changed until 24 hours before delivery. After that local pick-up at our Westheimer location will be only possible option.

There is no additional charge for order changes or cancellations, as long as they are within 48 hours of the time order was placed.

Order changes and cancellations of non-perishable products (tools, supplies, and decor)

Non-perishable product may be returned/cancelled up to 24 hours before requested delivery or pick-up date.

Product Quality Guarantee

Scent & Violet is responsible for the quality of the flowers you receive – You are responsible for proper care and handling of your flowers. It is crucial you follow instructions at Proper Flower Care and Preparation Guide that comes with your flowers where it shows exactly how you need to clean, hydrate and condition your flowers.

Bulk flowers require hydration and we request that you process and hydrate your flowers immediately after receipt. Depending on the type of flowers you order, the difference between received and hydrated flower can be substantial. Flowers require 8-12 hours to properly hydrate. Please, plan accordingly.

Flowers are product of nature – therefore flowers will demonstrate uniqueness and variations: spots, crooked stems, color variations. We cannot guarantee that each stem you receive will be uniform or free of little imperfections. As you process your flowers and prepare your bouquets you will most likely discard few stems. That is normal, and that is what we florists do.

It is your responsibility to properly clean, hydrate and handle flowers. We cannot be liable for mishandling of flowers by clients.

We will not leave your flowers in front of the door. It is important to have someone home to receive your flowers and immediately process them. If there is no one home on the date of the delivery, we will take flowers back to our shop, and our Product Quality Guarantee will be waived. Please note - we will not attempt to deliver again, you will have to come and pick up flowers from our Westheimer Location.

Return Policy

At Scent & Violet we know flower farms and we know flower farmers. Our flower buyers are some of the best and all together we are committed to delivering the freshest and highest quality of cut flowers to our customers at discounted prices. Every item on every order is inspected for quality and custom gathered for you.

However, we also know flowers and Mother Nature. Flowers are living, breeding product of nature, and as such susceptible to every possible peril there can be. The same way we cannot guarantee you will feel great every day, we cannot guarantee our flowers will, too. There are too many factors beyond our control that may affect order process, delivery and or quality of flowers. What we can guarantee is 100% commitment to you. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your buying experience or the flowers we deliver, we will correct the issue, refund your money, or re-supply your order. If you are not satisfied with the quality or condition of any items received, contact Scent & Violet within 24 hours of receipt and provide clear photographic images of all unsatisfactory products via email.

At our discretion, Scent & Violet will provide flower care instruction, issue a refund or provide replacement product. Scent & Violet may require a return of the product before any refund is issued.

All requests for refunds or new products must be made within 24 hours of receipt of your order, and must include photos of all product(s) for which the request is being made.

Substitution of flowers

We are committed to delivering your important emotional sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations.

Shade of flowers

We cannot guarantee exact shade of the color of our flowers. Mother Nature supersedes florist every time and the shade will vary depending on the Earth, Wind, Fire (not the band), and Water, or just general mood of the Nature and/or farmer.
