Floral Designer - Part Time or Freelance

We have a job opening for Experienced Floral Designer, part-time or Freelance 

Design positions vary from 20-25 H/week

Must be able to start work by 8 AM

Must be authorized to work in the USASave

Designer pay rate is based on experience, production rates, and quality of final product 

DESCRIPTION

We look for experienced and creative individual for a design position - mornings. We are looking for someone with solid experience and strong design skills, and excellent gasp of principals and elements of floral design. The candidate should be comfortable working both independently and in a group. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

DESIGN OPERATIONS

  • Creates floral designs as assigned and independently
  • Monitors orders and confirms details on a constant basis to ensure customer selection is processed correctly.
  • Follows proper flower processing procedures to ensure freshness and quality of the fresh cut product and plants

TEAM

  • Supports and assists team members on as needed basis.
  • Maintains neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Ensures 100% compliance with all company policies, guidelines and procedures.

 CUSTOMER SERVICE

  •  Provides an exceptional customer experience over the phone and in person.
  • Addresses clients concerns and informs Manager immediately
  • Maintains confidential customer information.

 SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Floral design experience in a floral shop or design studio is required.　
  • Formal education in floral design preferred 　
  • Exceptional customer service skills  
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
  • Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results.
  • Forms strong working relationships within team.
  • Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
  • Basic computer skills necessary
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • An eye for creativity and design
