Floral Designer - Part Time or Full Time 

We have a job opening for Floral Designer, part-time and full-time 

Design positions vary from 20-40 H/week

Must be able to start work by 8 AM

Must be authorized to work in the USASave

Minimum wage starts at $15/hour - designer pay rate is based on experience, production rates, and quality of final product 

DESCRIPTION

We look for experienced and creative individual for a design position - mornings. We are looking for someone with solid experience and strong design skills. The candidate should be comfortable working both independently and in a group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

DESIGN OPERATIONS

  • Creates floral designs as assigned and independently
  • Monitors orders and confirms details on a constant basis to ensure customer selection is processed correctly.
  • Follows proper flower processing procedures to ensure freshness and quality of the fresh cut product and plants

TEAM

  • Supports and assists team members on as needed basis.
  • Maintains neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Ensures 100% compliance with all company policies, guidelines and procedures.

 CUSTOMER SERVICE

  •  Provides an exceptional customer experience over the phone and in person.
  • Addresses clients concerns and informs Manager immediately
  • Maintains confidential customer information.

 SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Floral design experience in a floral shop or design studio is required.　
  • Formal education in floral design preferred 　
  • Exceptional customer service skills  
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
  • Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results.
  • Forms strong working relationships within team.
  • Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
  • Basic computer skills necessary
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • An eye for creativity and design
