Wondering how many petals you’ll need? Here’s a general guide to help you plan:

Aisles, paths, beds, or tabletops:

  • Light coverage – about 1 cup of petals per square foot
  • Moderate coverage – around 2 cups per square foot
  • Full coverage – approximately 3 cups per square foot
 
Petal toss (wedding or celebration):
 
Allow ⅓ to ½ cup of petals per guest
 
Reception tables:
 
Light scattering around the centerpiece – about 3 cups per table

Fuller coverage for a standard 60" round table – 5 to 6 cups per table

Memorial or funeral services:

0.5 to 2 cups per participant, depending on how the petals will be used
